Bippidi Boppidi Review
We had our first experience at the Bippidi Boppidi Boutique this past January, for my daughter’s 4th birthday. We bought our own outfit (Jasmine) at the Grand Floridian on arrival day, and decide this would be her outfit to wear!
As I have always heard, they asked us for an on-time check-in, even tho the website instructs you to arrive 15 minutes early. We waited near the Royal Table Entrance for a bit, and also shopped at some of the stores next door for fun!
This location is a lot smaller than Disney Springs, and they sure do fit a lot of kiddos in there, but we never felt super cramped or like we had to move out of the way.
They immediately donned her with a Birthday Sash and Celebration button of course, and got to work on her nails, but I noticed they weren’t working on her hair?!
A Manager came over to speak with me and let me know that my girl had a ‘scalp condition’. Of course he couldn’t SAY what it was for liability reasons, but I figured out later it’s because she still had a bit of a prominent scar (she had four staples removed prior to our visit). I hadn’t even thought about that being an issue because we brushed her hair and did ponytails all the time without it bothering her!
I get it tho, and he let me know they were prepared! They couldn’t do her hair, but crafted a story about the Princesses wanting her hair to be down, and effortlessly wove it into her session. They spent extra time and extra glitter and because they felt so bad they couldn’t do her hair, the comped our entire package!! And we got to leave with a BBB backpack full of makeup, nail polish and hair clips!
They really went above and beyond to make sure she didn’t feel out of place. They took such good care of her and didn’t miss a beat! I love sending clients here, and this is SUCH a part of what makes Disney the BEST!
Have you been to the BBB? I’d love to hear your experience in the comments!
